Clinical Experience Meets Legal Strategy

Passionate RN Leader & Educator Ready to Fortify Your Cases

Richard Brandt, RN, is a zealous and highly skilled Registered Nurse with more than 14 years of hands-on clinical experience in some of the nation’s busiest and most demanding healthcare environments. From Trauma I centers in major cities to critical access hospitals in rural communities, Richard has built a career defined by critical thinking, decisive leadership, and unwavering commitment to quality patient care.

A significant portion of his expertise comes from years as a travel/contract nurse across multiple states and facility types—including intensive care units, medical-surgical floors, and long-term care settings. Adapting rapidly to new protocols, electronic medical record systems, interdisciplinary teams, and regional standards of care has sharpened his ability to quickly analyze complex medical records, spot inconsistencies, and identify deviations from accepted standards—skills that directly translate into faster, more accurate support for attorneys.

Whether reviewing hundreds of pages of documentation or distilling intricate ICU timelines into clear chronologies, Richard brings the same adaptability, attention to detail, and real-world perspective that travel nursing demands. This broad exposure across diverse clinical settings allows him to provide attorneys with well-rounded insights that strengthen case strategy, reveal hidden strengths or weaknesses, and prepare for effective depositions and trial presentations.

In addition to his clinical background, Richard currently serves as Associate Professor and Lead Clinical Instructor at Eagle Gate College in Boise, Idaho. He collaborates with faculty and clinical sites to train the next generation of nurses while maintaining active practice as an on-call Registered Nurse with Idaho Home Health and Hospice. These roles reinforce his strengths in education, clear communication, and translating complex medical concepts into understandable language—exactly what busy lawyers need when building compelling medical narratives for their clients.

When not supporting legal cases or educating future nurses, Richard enjoys spending quality time with his family and embracing the outdoors. You’ll often find him hiking, camping, or tending his garden in the beautiful Treasure Valley—activities that recharge him and remind him of the importance of balance, resilience, and community.

Licensed in Idaho (Compact) and Oregon, Richard is ready to bring his extensive ICU, trauma, leadership, and travel nursing experience to your medical malpractice, personal injury, or complex healthcare litigation cases.

Richard is committed to delivering clear, objective, and timely medical analysis that helps attorneys save time, reduce risk, and achieve better outcomes for their clients.
